My 'babies' or Cats Rule

A couple of weeks ago I was ready to send these two back to the shelter. They were anti social, pooped all the time and just made my life harder with no payoff. I am happy to report that is just a dim memory now. Dash and Dani are darling, they are not pooping every 20 mins, have become quite sociable and give us countless hours of entertainment. At 5 am this morning I might have been a tad bit irritated as they played leap frog on my lifeless sleeping body - but I recovered quickly to join the morning with them. It is so funny how they'll find little nuggets that intrigue them and bring them out to play. So far they've found a sock that my grandson left behind, my flip flops, well just shoes period, business cards and keys out of my purse, a mousy toy that they had the first week here (went missing), and some other unidentifiable nick knacks. My little affectionate name for the pair is monkeys. They remind me of them in the way they relate, play and their intelligence.

Dani (the girl) is the most affectionate - the fear I had of them never cuddling up with me has now been replaced by the fear that she'll never get out of my butt. We are thrilled that we have them. They are bringing so much joy to us and life will definitely not get boring with these two hanging around.

Oh my goodness. I LOVE cats. At one time I had 6 in a 2 bedroom condo. I know I know that is a little much. I am catless at the moment. My daughter keeps trying to talk me into getting a kitty. I miss the cuddles but I am liking no litterbox to deal with and my furniture is no longer shredded.

Cats are such wonderful companions. So glad they finally came around to your way of thinking. Enjoy those little darlins.

Your cats are so pretty. I LOVE cats. I love how they ignore me but when they want something, they love me like no other. It always takes a while to get them to latch onto you, but once they do, it's impossible to get them off.

Glad to hear they're no longer pooping lumps of fur! LOL. All joking aside, I love the companionship a cat brings into your life. I've pretty much had a feline around since I was born. Sure, they love on you only when they feel like it, but that's what makes them so interesting. They're just like women. heh heh.

They are really cute, and so are their names! I'm glad they have gotten past their inhibitions and are not fitting in really well.

They are adorable!! I'm glad you stuck it out and they are now your loving little (albeit slightly active in the wee hours) companions. They found themselves a good home!!

They are so cute, but I won't be able to visit *sneeze*. Glad they are turning into the kitties you hoped for (and that they have hair).
